Trev

Plan A wombat / Gibbo junction. Appears this end of Dartmouth is completely closed off.
Plan B drive to Eustace Point.
Plan C camp at Gibbo River upstream from Mitta Mitta. Dartmouth not reachable by tinny.
Plan D explore the closed track (RPC) in the Mitta Mitta upstream and may be navigable?

Plan A
The advice about access was at this link on the Parkes Victoria site -
(Access beyond Alpine National Park on Lower Tablelands Road to Lake Dartmouth/Mitta River via Sac Track is no longer possible. Sac Track is located on private land and provides access to private land only, it is not a part of Alpine National Park.)

Might try Parkes Victoria on Monday to get advice, be good ig Daniel could try Miles to see if they know the Ranger and I could call him direct???

Notice the gate and the shoreline on this side along the Gibbo River and Mitta Mitta appears ton be private land.

Plan B
Drive a further one and a half of hours (35km) to Eustace Point. Camping (with limited facilities) is permitted in 3 designated areas around the Lake. The track from Sassafras Gap to the Eustace Creek camping area (Plan B) can be accessed by car, although a four wheel drive is recommended in wet conditions.
The two other camping grounds can only be reached by boat.
